A new patch for Aerostrike is now live! It adds the capability to change the Campaign's difficulty at will. It also fixes a lot of bugs found in Rebel Ops.


We interrupt your daily flight to bring a new patch. It adds an option to change the game's difficulty within the game itself. No need to restart the entire campaign! However, due to technical reasons it cannot be done in Rebel Ops.

Also changing the difficulty will disable the difficulty completion challenges down to the lowest difficulty played in that run. If you start in Standard Test, then later bump it up to Trial by Fire, it will only count Standard Test and Trial Run as completed.

Aside of that, it includes many, many Rebel Ops bug fixes. I swear every time one was dealt with, another popped up. Luckily they were all easy to identify and fix.

Here is a full list of patch notes:

Additions:

  • Added an option to change game difficulty in-game.

    • This will disable Difficulty completion challenges.

    • Will not affect enemies out in the field.

Visuals:

  • Added animations to Generators.

Audio:

  • Set the default master volume level to 50% down from 80%.

  • Should only affect first-time players.

Options:

  • KEYBINDS menu renamed to KEYBOARD.

Bugs:

  • Fixed a bug where pause volume was not being applied correctly.

  • Fixed an error where Rebel Ops would show the wrong intro text, then proceed to crash.

    • Thanks to Tsar Khan for reporting this issue.

  • Fixed various typos in Rebel Ops transmissions.

  • Fixed a secret door in Rebel Ops mission 9 not being blocked as intended.

  • Fixed a fake door in Rebel Ops mission 11 accidentally opening, causing a crash when trying to use it.

  • Fixed a transmission in Rebel Ops mission 12 showing the incorrect text.

  • Fixed not getting Challenge Completed notifications for Rebel Ops challenges.

  • Fixed an error where Turrets would not properly disable when shutting down a Generator.

  • Fixed a few errors when navigating Landing Pad menus.

  • Fixed the wrong prompt being displayed when acquiring the Boost Thrusters while using the gamepad.

    • It was using the Forward Shield prompt instead.

Techical Changes:

  • Updated the Input library to its newest version.

    • Should not have a negative impact on gameplay.
