The release date is really close. I’m not going to say when it’ll be yet, but I can confirm that it’ll be really soon.
With that said, I want to talk a bit why there were no devlogs the last month, and why this is not a devlog as well.
Since the release date is soon, you can imagine how much the game has changed since the last post, and, really, it’s a lot. But it’s still changing. I’m doing so much actually, that I can’t find time for posting a devlog, or a tweet, or anything like that.
Recently I’ve been working in a way of making the game update on the fly when you boot it up. But that’s not an easy task, especially when you don’t design the game from scratch to be like that. So you can imagine I’ll have to re-write the whole game, from the ground up.
I’m rethinking the game to allow easy modding, for those interested. That’s gonna be integrated really close to the updates system. I’m thinking of an in-game mod downloader, but that’s not simple as well. I have no idea if that’ll come out with the game’s release or as an update.
Also, the amount of polishing I’ve done, and have yet to do, that requires time.
But, all difficulties aside, the game’s development is still running at 300%. I really want to do this right, so that’s why I haven’t been updating you on the status of the game.
