Intro
Hello peoples. Sorry for not updating on the game for quite a while.
College was kicking me in the rear. And I was afraid of how to even program the resizable areas you fight in.
This is when I found this neat thing.
It's an Undertale engine made in Unity!
It should make development a bit easier due to LUA programming in the encounters! However, it presents a bit of an interesting choice.
The Ultimatum
There's an interesting choice I can make in terms of the game:
Restart development of the game on this engine. I would have to relearn Unity and C# for the overworld sections, but battle programming would be much easier.
Continue on with the development of the game in Godot, but I would have have a longer time getting battles set up. (Might take some notes from Create Your Frisk)
Conclusion
I am going to try to develop a full battle in Create Your Frisk and try to do some funky Overworld stuff if my computer plays nice with unity.
From there, I will post my progress.
Hope you have a shiny day!
