Sorta-Weekly Update Post number 6: Death animation finished and implemented.
Sorta-Weekly Update Post number 8: Chaser enemy has been textured and the texture is implemented into the game. Because of the flat colors, I intend to give the characters outlines to help distinguish them from each other and the environment better.
Working on the game-over animation and improved enemy pathfinding. Hopefully they'll get be better at avoiding collisions.
Sorta-Weekly Update Post number 12: Mob spawners have been redesigned and now animate. I neglected dto mention this last update, but enemies now can drop healing pickups. Health pickups now have a limited lifetime and will flicker before despawning.
The previously-mentioned controls screen, accessible from the main menu.
Sorta-Weekly Update Post number 10: Shooter enemy now slowly turns to face the player when it is standing still, instead of looking in the same direction. Enemies now also have a chance to drop healing pickups when they die.
Sorta-Weekly Update Post number 11: All currently-implemented enemies are textured. I am attempting to fix the issue that causes the shooters to stutter their movement, and it has something to do with how they turn around when standing still.
