Next up
so back at it again - thought I would show a tiny bit of laggy in engine "gameplay" - I have also decided to add in a little bit of lava... it doesn't do anything but its better than falling into the void - next... the pill must perish
Ok so just putting together a test level, nice and simples - running and jumping, I have also gave those collectables a super jump to clear some of the bigger gaps - don't mind the default background lol
I'm having a little bit of a physics issue - if I run into a wall the player decides to just run off in the opposite direction... anyone able to help me? - screenshot of movement code attached
Been testing a few things out, and have added a score counter today, and 2 kinds of collectables which is fun, starting to look more like a game
ok so we can run, we can jump, we have little collectables to help you jump over the big gaps... added some tutorial messages and a restart screen.. I think that is enough for today - here's a short view of the level so far
adding some stuff on the test level :)
So
i may or may not make an full art of some person or i may just leave this like that-
Spaaaace~
These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)
