Always Requesting That I Be Questing

The quest system involves several separate pieces coming together to form a whole. I am reaching the point where I can integrate all the separate pieces into one playable loop of objective assignments! Here are some Vines of the process.

This is by far the largest project I’ve ever worked on. I have a list of features and I’m plowing through them one by one, however, so I’m not worried. According to internal testers, the implemented pieces of the prototype are really compelling on their own even, so that’s a good sign of things to come.

Objectively Interesting I now have randomized quest objective names. You can also watch a (kinda stuttery) vid of progress on the waypoint display and little hints of AI advancement here [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SibtD2Tvzfw ].

Color and Interesting Shapes

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

🍒Did you like the game? A demo is available for free on Steam.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
