After a month of development, I finished my game for the RPG Maker 2025 Game Jam: #No_Hacks!

Join Murou on his journey through various console-based puzzles as he strives to reunite with his best friend Zandra in the virtual reality world: ComplexNet.

Last year, I made a game in Ren'Py for the "Only One of Any Asset" (O2A2) Visual Novel Jam 2024. Here's a video where I play through the game, Clove's Story.

In this next #No_Hacks devlog, I was able to get all of the core mechanics and game loop complete so far! Here's everything I accomplished in the first week on this project.

Welcome @pracystudios to Game Jolt!

They're the developers behind Nocturne, a Rhythm RPG inspired by Chrono Trigger and Undertale, where every enemy has a unique song, which you defeat by playing notes Guitar Hero style.

In this #No_Hacks devlog, I go through final development. It mostly consisted of playtesting and polishing it with last-minute features. In this devlog, I dive into what that last week of development looked like.
