Back on Track

Hey, all!

So as you might have noticed, the crisis of the ROG's untimely death is (almost) finally over!

I now have access again to all the important assets I need to actually work on the game, which means I can start getting back to it.

Since I was forcefully taken out of it for over 2 weeks, it's now highly unlikely the complete V1.1.0 experience will be ready for a thematic October release.

(Might be able to whip up a public test build, but it won't be the full experience.)

It should still be able to be be completed within 2022, but it'll take a bit of time to ensure it gets the playtesting, additions and polish it needs.

I will also likely take a break from XL for awhile once V1.1.0 is released as well. The downtime did give me a chance to realize that other projects have really fallen behind while I was focusing on this. I'll be plugging work into those on other sites once we hit that point in the winter season.

Think that about covers it for now. In the mean time, I'm gonna try and remember where I left off...

'Till next time!

P.S. Pass 2 of the private test build is up for those that I gave access to.

Me: Man, I really wanted to have something released for the 10th anniversary, but I have nothing ready for it!

Yeah, we're doing this.

Not quite the fix I've been talking about for the past few weeks, but it's at least progress.

First signs of danger.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Save file stuff (sidequests, maps and "autosaving") might currently be a troublesome mess, but at least development on OCN is going pretty smooth.

Motivation has returned in a substantial enough way.

No poll for today, though I figured a sneek peek at the next update's changelog is warranted.

New look, new direction.
