The battle music system from the original I. M. Meen has been fully implemented into the game! Now you'll hear some tense music whenever you or an enemy gets hit!
After years of only pointing northward, the HUD compass is now fully functional! Now you can tell what direction you're facing in the labyrinth WITHOUT having to rely on the automap!
Do note that the compass doesn't work for the second player when playing co-op.
Re-rendered the in-game cutscenes so that they're higher-quality (read: no artifacts). They are double the size as a result, but given how there's only three right now, it's not that bad...
You can now select an area in Meen's labyrinth when starting a new game!
A brand-new startup sequence has been added, replacing the (honestly quite ugly) ASCII art-based one from previous releases.
Halved the player headbobbing as it was a bit much and made me seasick.
Greatly reduced the amount of those ugly "fake sky" tiles in the Hedgerow Maze. Turns out, I only had to use them for the sectors the doors are on. Neat!
Various visual improvements and filesize compression methods have been done.
Minor tweaks and fixes.

Quick update. Progress on the YTP Archives is going rather well now that I have the full version of the Vinesauce RPG. ETA January 2021.
New update for the Meen TC coming soon. Contains proper widescreen graphics and other minor things. Have a screenshot.
Got the final level of MeenTC done. All that’s left are two secret levels and a few new features/additions here and there.

GZDoom has added support for FMV cutscenes in the newest version, 4.8.0. This bears great news for this TC, obviously!
Expect a new update in the coming weeks.

Version 0.9 of MeenTC (lovingly nicknamed "The (Kinda, Sorta) Cutscene Update") has been released! This update contains a small handful of FMV cutscenes, co-op support, accuracy improvements, and other small goodies.
