Here’s another change related to battles - Enemy Types! Taken from the original games, enemies will now be classified into nine different types, and will have a chance to drop specific items. What’ll they be used for? That’s a secret for now.
One thing to note is this mechanic will be different from the original games where “Red Reptile” will only drop “Red Scale” and “Blue Reptile” will only drop “Blue Scale”. In this game, every single Reptile will only drop Reptile Scales, every single Beast will only drop Beast Fangs, etc.
If you look closely, Enemy Types aren’t the only new thing I’ve added. Is that a new map I spot?
Speaking of maps, this Chapter is nowhere near finished. These past 2 months have been dedicated to battle features, but now I am satisfied with the updates and ready to start working on the story again.
Here’s a new area you’ll be visiting soon. The way the place is shaped will allow you to… go fast.
