Chapters

Hello.

I’ve decided that releasing the game in chapters would be a good idea, for a few reasons:

  • Chapters help people stay interested in the game for longer. If people just wait a super long time for the release of the game and it takes years for it to come, they’ll inevitably lose interest. And honestly, I probably will, too. This is just a better method of creating the game for both me and the people following the project.

  • I won’t feel as overwhelmed developing the project. This is a big thing for me—when I’m undertaking a large task, I need to break it down into smaller chunks for it to be manageable for me. If not, I’ll just end up panicking at the thought of how much work I have to complete, and it’ll never get done because I’ll be too busy worrying and procrastinating.

Oh, also, I changed my username. This is more professional-looking, and it’s sorta what I’ve been calling myself here anyway. You might’ve noticed that, in the German devlogs, I say “Der Entwickler.” That’s a translation of “The Developer” (which I use in the English devlogs). I chose the German version because I knew the English one would be taken. Also, I think in German, so that just makes things easier for me.

Anyway, that’s all I have to say for now.

Signed,
The Developer
