Curse you NSIS...


Ok… so basically, because I upgraded to Game Maker Studio 2, I can only export Timetales as an NSIS .exe file, which has some questionable properties behind it and is causing trouble for people trying to open it. I’m trying to figure out how to get around this, but I may be at the mercy of YoYo Games until they add another way to export. It might also be a Gamejolt compatibility thing, but until I look up more about it, I’m pretty much stuck.

If anyone has any ideas as to how to get around this, please leave a comment in the Timetales comment section, or message me in some other way. Thank you!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
