DAY 2 — DEV LOG
Added character customization. Added music fade transitions for smoother scene changes, but ran into conflicts with the current screen fade setup. Planning to move all transitions into AnimationPlayer.
Reworked the UI with new artwork
Improved issues with cut-scene transitions.
Buttons now work correctly.
Progress feels solid overall.
I feel the UI is still too large and needs refinement.
Underroot now has an official game page.
Early release coming soon.

DAY 8 - DEV LOG
- Worked on Intro Scene, UI, and Transitions again...sadly... think I'm getting the hang of it though.

Added birch trees and expanded mining.
Wood can now be collected and stored.
Next: inventory improvements, mushroom farming, cave dwelling.
DAY 4 - DEV LOG
- Happy with scene transitions, music and visual
- Moving on to story building, then cut scenes.
- Next: Story, Cut-scenes, UI / Lighting updates
DAY 5 – DEV LOG
Worked on making the first "Cut Scene"
Added dialogue boxes for characters
Began focusing more on story development
UI improvements planned over the next few days
