Polished the inn interior and fixed Y-sorting
Improved dialogue, calendar, and health UI
Built room key, check-in, and sleep systems
NEXT: Polish and polish the core game-play loop
- Worked on village design, scene transitions, and lighting.
- NEXT: Add more lights, torches, mushrooms, etc.
Note: mining village is in a mountain so there is no day/night light cycle.
DAY 18 & 19 - DEV LOG
- Continued working on int/ext props and design
NEXT: Continue interior and exterior design
- Worked on first Cut-Scene a bit... more on this soon
- Worked on transitions, and lighting sprites
- NEXT: Continue working on first cut-scene until it's finished!
- Polished the inn dialogue
- Added room rentals, keys, sleeping, and checkout
- Fixed room numbers

- Created interior reusable props as scenes. (e.g. empty bookshelf, a chair, etc.)

Created a rough sketch of the main village layout.
Next: bringing the village into the actual game world.

Worked an insane amount on lighting. Trying to balance visuals with performance. I eventually settled on built in Godot WorldEnvironment node.
