Worked an insane amount on lighting. Trying to balance visuals with performance. I eventually settled on built in Godot WorldEnvironment node.
DAY 18 & 19 - DEV LOG
- Continued working on int/ext props and design

- Polished the inn dialogue
- Added room rentals, keys, sleeping, and checkout
- Fixed room numbers

DAY 29-30 DEV LOG
- Improved UI, shop, and inn logic
- Fixed bugs and Y-sorting issues
- Rough sketched Mine Progression (4 Realms)
NEXT: Rewards, challenges, enemies, and hidden stories.
- Worked on interior design and door function
- Created interior reusable props as scenes. (e.g. empty bookshelf, a chair, etc.)

DAY 25 - DEV LOG
- Created Tiny Fairies
- Some UI work
- Updated Music
- Created a player Health System
NEXT: Improve Shop UI, and UI in general!
DAY 31 - DEV LOG
- Got lost polishing UI, music, SFX and working with item functions.
- Next continue with Level Design, and Town Design.
- Worked on the cut scene... a lot
- Now you can drop the lantern for light while mining
- Major UI & lighting improvements
- NEXT: improve switching equip, interiors, more ores, vegetation
DAY 23 - DEV LOG
Polished the inn interior and fixed Y-sorting
Improved dialogue, calendar, and health UI
Built room key, check-in, and sleep systems
NEXT: Polish and polish the core game-play loop
DAY 26, 27, 28 - DEV LOG
- Updated UI style darker, cleaner, semi-transparent.
- Rebuilt the inventory HUD.
- Improved shop & inn dialogue, room booking, key returns, and gold handling.
- Worked on the mines.
