Decided to take part in a game jam and after that - a break until the end of July, so no updates on JICE for now. But here is a fun comparison between the very first and current look!

Next up

Remaking the weapon system to allow (in the future) the use of various different things as weapons besides the default pistols. Fixed some bugs along the way, so now shooting during run and slide works as it's supposed to.

Adding some chocolate-themed objects to Spaceport. And cookies.

Spacious arena-like room to introduce a new mechanic and give a mini objective. There will be a moving gate-mouth at the end of a conveyor that will need to be fed

This week's #FanArtFriday celebrates Pizza Tower! The game's 2nd anniversary is on January 26!

Created another spline for faster placements of obstacles. It randomly spawns objects along the path. Later on I can use these as guides for where to place the final props.

An outline to highlight the interactable objects. Took some time to find a color that would really pop out.

A piece of sparking wire colliding with environment. Decided to make this as an effect first and see if it is going to be easier to implement as a weapon than a skeletal mesh.
