I've been really, really happy that everyone has been enjoying the new demo.
Seeing so many people play it has really been an honor!
I noticed a few issues and Patch 1 fixes a few bugs within the demo, so download the new patch when you are able to!
Obviously this won't fix every bug that there is, but I will try to iron out all the ones I see over time.
2.0.7 Patch notes
Selecting 'New Game' on the main menu screen no longer resets your options (including fullscreen)
Willow now always appears on Night 2, even after closing and reopening the game
Tealer can no longer escape containment on Night 2 if another threat infects the lure
Jumpscares (should) no longer show the last frame of the previous one shown for a split second
The first task on the checklist no longer vanishes when the lure is on it's way to attack you
Some graphical tweaks have been made to the Supplies room
'Machine Independent Speed' is now enabled, meaning the game should operate at the same speed across all computers, regardless of frame-rate
Survival Tips
Here's some tips on how the mechanics of TEALERLAND work, and how to survive Night 1 & 2!
There are sound cues whenever Tealer or one of his friends are outside the room you are currently in - once you hear that sound end, and hear footsteps, you're in the clear!
Remember to shut the door on threats you contain, or they will escape their containment rooms!
Big one - If you are still in the same room as Tealer, it will count as staring! If he is in the hall, looking to the right will not be enough - you must go back to your office. (While in the hall, he blocks the door to Supplies on the left, resulting in a jumpscare if you try to go there)
Willow (the white & red character) makes her way down the facility into your hallway. When you hear a laugh, stare at her in the hall and she'll go away!
Infected files in the Firewall always start with the tag "XANNI_". If you select the wrong file (or fail to fix it in time), the lure will turn against you!
Whenever you die to a character, the game explains how they work on the death screen. Keep that in mind if you're having a bit of trouble with anyone!
There will be more bugfix patches in the future! I also plan to tweak the AI in future patches to make certain situations a little more fair.
