Hey everyone! Apologies for the 4 months of radio silence, progress on warrior has been slow but good! Here is a list of all the elements i am going to be mentioning in this devlog :

Desert Biome [WIP] :
The latest addition to the game is a brand new biome! While the desert biome is not a main story element, it contains a lot of side dungeons to explore and a lot of new foes to fight, although entering is not easy as you need to have a heat resistant tunic, expect them to be pretty empty (as regular deserts aren’t usually cluttered with stuff



Achievements [WIP] :
With a recent update from the gamejolt achievement plugin, i am now able to add achievements to my rpg maker MZ games without it breaking, which opens up a lot of opportunities to me as a game dev.
Upon launch, the game will ask you to log in with gamejolt (if you don’t have an account you can just close the page

You will then be able to earn any achievements by completing certain tasks in game, here’s a preview of the first 3 achievement icons (all made by me :D, try to guess what they’re for.)



the demo will contain 1 platinum achievement for 100% the full demo, and another one for the full release
Waystones :
The world of warrior is quite vast, and will get vaster and bigger with the full release, which is why i’ve implemented a waystone system that can be used to travel to key locations faster and with ease.
At first, Warrior will not know how to use a waystone and will get confused with each interaction.

By talking to an NPC in the first village, you will be gifted a “teleporter scroll”, this will allow you to enable and use waystones

(This system makes use of the [CGMZ] Fast travel plugin.)

Reworked Intro Cutscene :
The intro cutscene that begins the game has been slightly overhauled!
