Development so far and purpose of the game


First of all a big THANK YOU to everyone that tried the beta!

Your input and comments are of the greatest value. I am working on fixing the collision and sound bugs and by this September the pre-release beta will be available for download.

I have been coding every day for the last 4 months in order to create this game. To be honest this started as a game I made for me in order to play on my phone when I was bored, but people seem to like it so I cannot allow myself to disappoint you.

So here are some things that will be added till the next and final beta:

-2 more maps
1 will be the central hub and the other a really large map with many enemies and secrets and a more challenging boss than the ones you encountered so far

-Skill system
You will be able to upgrade your abilitites i.e. your spell/punch/kick/slide damage, the stamina drain of each ability, the maximum health etc

-Spellbook
You can keep any spell you find and change it mid-battle


Purpose of the game: make a challenging but fair game that will reward the player each time they overcome a challenge. I aim to teach-by-playing and by the end of the game train the player to become skilled and not the in-game character.

Next up

After a year since conception, I am finally entering the final phase of development. It has been quite a journey with its ups and downs. The game is very close to what I aimed for and I really hope you will enjoy it!

Final Beta Release

After many months of development and a lot of painful polishing and optimization, the latest beta is pretty close to what I aim for the players to experience in the final game. Give it a try!

In the spirit of 80s sci-fi like Universal Soldier, Terminator and Robocop, I added a CRT screen filter and scanlines to simulate the "old scifi" experience. There's 4 maps and 1 boss now and a Tutorial.
