devlog-4.17.23: Finally a path forward...

I think I finally found a path forward regarding dialog for one of the characters I introduce half-way through the game. I spent much of the weekend just paralyzed over what to do when I realized that this character had been sounding like just a smarter version of an already established character, and that wouldn't do at all. Anyway, still plenty of dialog to be written, but at least now I know how to do it.

Also this week, I'll be prepping for Steam Puzzlefest. There are lots of IRL things going on, but I'm to the point where I need to buckle down and get things done. Given that I do most/all of my gamedev in the early mornings before the kids have woken up, I'll be up early lots this week.

And now back to work!

I am so super very excited about this new Skeeter's Grid art! I've also posted some info about achievement changes.

Lots going on!

devlog-4.16.23: Time to revive the old devlog...

Here's my contribution for the Holiday Fireplace. I'd been putting some tracks together for Skeeter's Grid and realized some of these loops seemed vaguely festive in a downtempo sort of way.

I've created a new gameplay trailer for Skeeter's Grid. Truth be told, this is long overdue.

Skeeter's Grid will be participating in Steam PuzzleFest

Been busy! To make my summer release window for Skeeter's Grid, I'm trying to complete a few levels each week while concurrently prep for Next Fest in February. This unfinished "Phase 3" shot features several new circuit types on a more complex board.

Alright folks, my demo for Skeeter's Grid is available on Steam:

If you like puzzle games, I do hope you'll give this a try.

New dev teaser for Skeeter's Grid as I ready for Next Fest.

This showcases one of the early tutorial levels. On display are new animations, the new contextual help system and more.

Few milestones...

My demo has been approved by Valve for release! I'm not doing the actual release until shortly before Next Fest, but this is a good development.

Also, I've scheduled a live-stream for Feb. 24 at 6pm EST.
