HI-FI Frights is a very complicated project, especially if you have no idea what you are doing.
- Probably me, 2025.
No, it's a joke. Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're all feeling great today.
I'm VERY happy to finally present you the HI-FI Frigths page, where of course, devlogs, trailers and the game itself will be stored once it's ready!
For now, I'm still experimenting on how to make a rhythm game that feels dynamic (for now Blasterbeat is the best source of inspiration as it's fairly simple in formula) - but the base of the game is ready, and it looks pretty interesting because of the shader/post-processing used!
Now, although I'm still writing the story and some more private development files, I can tell you that the experience is going to be a nice length, I'll try to make everything look as good as possible and make it as less tiring as possible!
For now, the interface, metadata, visuals, dialogue and general game setup is ready, I still need to work on the implementation of the main mechanics, but anyway, for all that I want to try, this might take a while...
For now, there is also a test cinematic to see the audio, sound and subtitle settings, which seem to be working perfectly.
Above I left some in-engine screenshots (and one of the Blender announcement trailer).
Having said all this, thank you for reading! Have a nice day, afternoon, or evening! :]
