#Devruary I always say "your vibe attracts your tribe", so for any project, "success" in a nutshell would look like seeing people out there whose lives are changed for the better by the project in the same positive way mine was by the devs before me.

And if I'm being honest, the hope for that goes down as you move away from what's "expected" or not considered "cringe", so it at the very least it would be an uphill battle for me. I know that professional creations has correctness and standards, but expressive creations do not.

As someone who makes games for free, money is not my ultimate goal - we need more free stuff in this day and age anyway. I express myself and my beliefs in everything I create, and sharing it with the world is me giving a signal for the people who need it to find it. I would very much love for my content to be what can help someone get through a dark or uncertain time in their life and find happiness.

On another lesser note, there are people out there who do like my work but don't want to associate with it/acknowledge it publicly. I would much rather have a group of people that are not afraid to do so than a whole big following of people who can't name one specific thing they like about my work.

TLDR: Success for me isn't money, but the content's appreciation for what it is and what it is meant to do.
