First Engine Beta for "Void Defender"


Í was getting a bit bogged down by the heavy code needed by my game “Void Warrior” when I had an idea about a sister game using the same timeline and story but set on a planet that is being menaced by a Void invasion…

And so “Void Defender” was born…

It´s a Tower Defense game with (I hope!) enough details and polish, as well as twists in the gameplay, to entertain again and again… This current engine beta has about half of the towers and buildings that the full game has (the next upload will be the full engine with all towers and buildings) and only a very basic enemy, although the Tutorial is complete…

My future plans are to have all 8 towers and buildings functional, as well as a few more enemy vehicles and to start working on an AI for the enemy… Here is a screenshot of the newer towers…

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
