First Update

Welcome to the first update! This game is still very new in concept design, so the story isn’t fleshed out yet. Taking that into account, the only real information that I can discuss with you are the core mechanics that are planned to be in the final version of the game. Over time I’ll be sharing more and more information about what you’ll find in this game.

Today’s topic will focus on the warp factor, one of the most important stats in the game. The warp stat will affect the way the world is presented to your character, and the types of events that occur. As the warp factor becomes higher, the more reality will bend and break, areas that seemed normal before will become more and more sinister and the enemies you face off against will become absurd.

You will be able to influence the warp factor, though the methods will be talked about in a future update. Controlling your warped factor will be an balancing act, some parts of the game will require you to take an calculated leap into insanity to overcome obstacles, however over jumping(letting the number grow to high) will lead to horrific situations that you may not be able to bounce back from.

That’s all for now.
