FNaF World Simulator: New World, New Character and Much More! Coming Soon in Version 1.1.0!

You read that right- There's an update coming for FNaF World Simulator, featuring a new world, character and a whole lot more!

I'll briefly go into detail about where I've been and how this update came to be, and then I'll say more about the new world, character, and what other things will be added.

Maybe you've noticed that I've been quiet for a veeeery long time, and that it's been more than 1 year since the last version was posted. Well, a while ago I posted a comment explaining why, but I will repeat what I said for those who didn't read it. Basically, my internet stopped working on the 7th of December of 2018, and returned only around the start of December of 2019. And not just on my computer, my cellphone and any other PC in here didn't have any internet either. This means that I've been away from the internet for an entire year. Wasn't fun, but hey, I'm here now!

When I was still working on the game, I had a thought in mind: "I'm not going to make any updates adding new content such as characters or worlds." I wanted everyone to pick up the game and experience everything I wanted them to, I didn't want to make people have to download a new version to be able to have the full experience. Everything I wanted to put in the game, I put in the game.

So, when I released this game, I was satisfied with it. Everything I wanted was in it... except for one thing. A feature. One that I had planned to implement while the game was yet to be published, but I couldn't figure out a way to make it work within the story, so I ended up not adding it. Though it would have been a cool feature, it wasn't game-changing or super important to have it. After I released the game, I kept thinking about ways to add this feature, version after version... and I finally came up with something.

I was already going to make a new version to FNaF World Simulator, but I intended to make it a regular one, that only fixes bugs and makes some improvements. However, after I came up with how to add the previously mentioned feature, I decided to make this version a little bigger.

The idea at first was to make an update that adds this feature and some new dialogue explaining certain parts of the story, but then I thought: "If I'm going out of my way to say this is an update, I'd better make it a big one."

So now, not only will this update have this feature and the new dialogue, it will have even MORE features, a brand new world, plus a new character. What is this feature that I've wanted to add for so long? I won't say what it is, but I will say it allows you to R***** B*****. It's something plenty of people have asked for. I'll say what it is and why I previously couldn't make it work in the upcoming news post for this update, for those that are curious.

With all that out of the way, let's talk about the new content in this update! Firstly, the new world. What world is this? I don't want to ruin the surprise, so I'm not saying what its name is, what it looks like, or anything like that. I WILL say this, though: we have seen this place before. Very subtle hint, I know, but any more information and I'd give it away. This world is going to be very wide, and it will have many things for players to do!

Now, let's talk about the newest addition to the roster. I can imagine you're all thinking "What? There's only ONE new character? That's so lame! There should have been a whole new row of characters!", and I understand. Only one new character does seem disappointing... at first. You see, this character is different from the others. I'm not going to say why so I don't ruin the surprise, but once you see what this character does... you won't be complaining about there being only one character. I can assure you of that.

Now on to the miscellaneous additions. In the comment I posted a while ago, I mentioned some of the things this version would change/fix. Not everyone read that, so I will recite what I said:

  • After many versions, that super annoying "c.dll" error message will finally be removed. I tried to fix this with each version, but only now have I found the solution to this.

  • The very first version of the game had only 3 save slots. Later on, I made it have 4 save slots. Well, on this version, there will be 20 save slots!

  • Lots and lots of optimizing and other stuff done on this version will make the game run faster everywhere, but especially on the overworld and during the battles.

I'll say two more things that will come in this version, that I didn't say in the comment:

  • When your party gets stunned by the Haunting attack, they will turn black and white, like the opponents. Previously, there just appeared a bunch of sparkles when the characters got stunned.

  • In the Character Selection screen, there will now be a bar that shows how much EXP is needed until the selected character levels up. I updated the image of the Character Selection screen to show this, so you can go and take a look at it!

This update will be big, however not just because it will add a new world, character, and some more. But also because of all the improvements that will be done. There are a LOT of fixes and changes in this version, and the whole experience becomes so much better with all of these little (and some not so little) additions. If you have any suggestions or complaints about any part of the game at all, let me know and I'll see what I can do to make it better!

In the comment I had posted, I mentioned that there is a problem that would slow down development. It's nothing big, but it sure is annoying. It's not that I can't figure out how to fix it, I know exactly how to fix it, it's just that it'll take some time to do it and it's something really boring. I'll go into detail about it in the upcoming news post for this update.

I added a progress bar in the description that says how much I've completed for this update. Check it every now and then to see how much is left until the update is finished! Oh, also, this is unrelated to the new version, but I updated the "Thank You" image to have Plushtrap in it. I didn't notice he was missing until now. Wow. Also, I gave Crabapple a shadow. That will be done in the game too, of course.

I have no set date for this update, and when it's done, I'll publish it right away. I won't announce a release date or anything like that beforehand.

Okay everyone, that's all I can say for now! I hope you liked this announcement! The things that are coming on this version are really, really cool, and I'm super eager to be able to show you all what's new! Alright, make sure to be on the look out for when the update comes out! I'll see you next time!
