Found myself with 7 hours of free time yesterday, decided to spend it all on building the overworld engine!

Instead of putting all of the new features in separate posts, I showcased them in this one video! (Read the article for specific features)

The blue things at the bottom are mobile controls
You can now interact with objects on the map besides the door to the next room (wait, there's no door!)
A menu where you can view your mission, switch partners, toggle a 2 player mode, and eventually equip special effects!
