Hey there!
For the past few weeks, Game Jolt Fest was a big thing for Game Jolt. It gave indie developers the chance to get their games shown off at GDC based on community votes.
Project NOR was amongst all these great games, and managed to earn fifth place! I’m excited to say that because of this, I’ll be attending GDC to show it off!
Another thing, is that Project NOR will be going away from relying on its own updater to using Game Jolt Client. This means faster updates. Project NOR has grown quite large in file size compared to when it first was posted on Game Jolt, and frankly my home internet cant handle hosting the files anymore.
Lastly, I’d like to say that I’ve also re-written the menu navigation for controllers. The old system was full of bugs and quirks I had no time to figure out and fix, so changing the system altogether was a better solution. The controller now has a cursor that can be moved around to select things.
Overall, I’d just like to say that I’m grateful that my game got into the top ten for Game Jolt Fest. It was a tight competition, and there were so many solid entries I’d of expected anybody else to have made it.
I hope you guys continue to enjoy Project NOR, and I’ll see those of you attending GDC in March!
Best Regards,
Sebastian Lawe
