Updated to using pixel shaders instead of CPU for the effects. Also finished getting the windows port (OSX is the primary OS I dev in) working as well!
Working on file formats, which seem to compress quite nicely! I've also got some great animations in from the artist. I'm currently working on the dual tile rendering engine, which will be used in the title as well as the game.
Not sure if this should be on the bottom or top... and if it should be solid black or simi-transparent. Either way, this bar will have the important stats, as well as any bound actions. I may even make it a vertical bar so the game plays in a square area.
Basic map rendering is in. Time to work on the entity system.
The effect itself isn't done, but at least the proof of a 'dual worlds' rendering process is vetted out!
Border effect is in, now to add the point sources!
Got it! Now onto some actual gameplay stuff!
Almost there...
Finished implementing the dialog system. The text scrolls as expected (with proper line breaks), 'jump to end' support for people who like skipping dialog, as well as multiple dialog pages.
Just as Pecaminosa's musicians #improvise this rendition of #LittleSunflower 🌻, so do we improvise with this post you're reading. 😂
What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔
