Almost there...
Updated to using pixel shaders instead of CPU for the effects. Also finished getting the windows port (OSX is the primary OS I dev in) working as well!
Working on file formats, which seem to compress quite nicely! I've also got some great animations in from the artist. I'm currently working on the dual tile rendering engine, which will be used in the title as well as the game.
Got it! Now onto some actual gameplay stuff!
Border effect is in, now to add the point sources!
Got the Mac OSX disk image build working! Once my artist gives me the app icon I'll replace the ugly default one. Still have to do the windows installer...
The effect itself isn't done, but at least the proof of a 'dual worlds' rendering process is vetted out!
Basic map rendering is in. Time to work on the entity system.
Finished implementing the dialog system. The text scrolls as expected (with proper line breaks), 'jump to end' support for people who like skipping dialog, as well as multiple dialog pages.
