Undertale: The Visual Novel

Hello again.

Well, what do you know? Messed up on updating a project again, and for that, I sincerely apologize. I’ve been fairly busy for the last few months, and honestly haven’t felt the motivation to work on this project over some others I was doing. For those of you unaware, I also stream over on twitch and have been trying to get more involved with that recently. I also recently picked up D&D and DMing for a group of friends, and that can sometimes take up the time I would usually spend working on this. Also, classes just started, so that’s… actually not bad. Well, for my productivity on this project, it is, but aside from that, it’s alright.

“oh… i’m rambling, aren’t i… sorry…”

However, I’m done making excuses! I’m going to try and get back to working on this, as I feel like it’s the only way I can repay everything that Undertale has done for me… Er, you know, by making a visual novel of dating its characters. Ahem. Yeah. My passion was recently reborn for Undertale and working on this project again. I played through the last 4 hours of Undertale in a stream recently and ended it with my face hurting from smiling, so I think now’s a good time to work on it again.

Maybe if I make a Discord for this or something, then I’ll have more drive to work on it or something… I don’t know! I haven’t done things like this before, and I’m merely trying to play most of this off as though I’m not an amateur. I’ll also probably have a poll up some time soon based on how the narrative should be structured (I.E. first, second, or third person). If you guys think I should do either of those, please let me know either here or on the Tumblr. I’ll try to get back into the swing of working on this project. Please bear with me and remember to let me know if you find anybody interested in sprite/background work! Thank you all for sticking around/checking this out.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

New challenges & new effects!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
