Spike House Update
So, I put Spike-House up and started to get some feedback. I wrote the game a few years ago. It was actually my first “complete” game, so there is some stuff that is kludgey about it; I’m cleaning up the colision detection, since the game is 90% colision detection.
Other things I plan on adding are:
I’m going to add wasd controls (it already has gamepad and arrow keys controls).
I’m going to make it so if you are jumping up a wall past a set of vertical spikes at the top of a wall, those spikes won’t kill you.
A two player version where they race to the goal.
A speedrun mode that always uses the same level layoout that killscreens at level 30 (or so).
So, if those things annoy you, in the future they will not, and if any of these things sound fun, in the future they might be.
Any other suggestions are welcome.
