A bit late but I’ve finally decided to make a small blog to show my progress during the development of NUMEN for Adventure Jam 2019. I don’t know if I can write often, this is a jam, but I will try!
First I would like to thank Python Blue! for his help with music, as always his work increases the quality of the entry!
The week before the jam I was working on the concept, history, mechanics… looking for inspiration and deciding the type of game I wanted to do. Finally I decided to make a Myst type game, beautiful and peaceful environments with exploration and resolution of puzzles with an original and intriguing story… but short, time doesn’t allow for more.
I have already started with the composition of the scene in Unity and here you can see the blockout before the final creation of de scene, whenever I can I like to do this step, it helps me to see the composition of the elements and makes the final creation easier and faster.
