So, the game project has been an inconvenient mess for quite a while, courtesy of past me who didn't know any better. I'm done polishing a turd, so to speak, it's time to fix it all with a full remaster! Once finished, performance, visual quality and usability will all have improved. (It's a win-win for both players and I)
Here's the map layout remade in a much more efficient way:
There's way less geometry for the floors, ceilings and walls by instead using stretched quads with tiled textures.
I fixed the models using Blender because since they were ripped from a game the geometry got skewed.
Doing large scale changes is now really easy as I made sure every object in the scene is linked to a prefab.
