I actually designed this game as a paper prototype first! I'm continuing to work on that version, and I think I may release it as a print and play game at some point.

I still have a lot to learn when it comes to code organization for a mechanics focused prototype like this! The structure is already a bit unwieldy even at this early stage. I may pivot to another prototype and come back to this later.

Instead of starting a big new project, I'll be prototyping some little game ideas! In my first prototype you play as a boat captain who trades resources with villages connected by canals. Currently I have some basic random map generation working!
