I added a dynamic tutorial system to the game! I might make sprites to use instead of the green text, but not now.
It's been about a year, but the demo is pretty much ready! I'm having some people playtest it first tho.

I recently restarted my metroidvania game, Blooming Darkness (old version demo is now playable), and I wanted to improve my pixel art skills for the new version. Would you say I've made good progress?

I added a Bestiary to Blooming Darkness! I this should help flush out the world a bit, and perhaps even hint at some lore
Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
