The story of Edwin Murray and his son David is what I am going to tell about in this devlog before Secret of the Mimic. The story follows with Edwin and his wife Fiona giving child birth to David but unfortunately she dies before the Mimic is created and before Edwin started his own company and it was him and his son together and one day they find a abandoned building with a basketball court, some spare parts, and also some robotic parts that gave Edwin a good idea that he created the Mimic to watch over his son and play with him everything was going great except one day the Mimic and David are playing with a ball he drops the ball and it runs off and David tries to get the ball but a car kills him and ends his life. Edwin loses his son and then as his company gets created he loses his mind and puts the Mimic AI on all of his inventions and then one day they Mimic asks him for ice cream like his son would and just like that he starts beating the Mimic up all that anger and all that depression and drama is put inside the Mimicβs data and after Edwin disappears the Mimic is now a killing machine that uses mascot suits to also kill employees who try to retrieve it both class A + B gets killed by the Mimic in the books and that is just it for the origin of the Mimic.
