Insectoid Descent, Changelog, November 20th 2021
In the past 2 months, I have added the boss fight and significant changes to lighting and effects like slime. Slime is bigger now and more splotchy, the darkness is full and you cannot see without a flashlight (press F) or Night Vision Goggles (find them)
+ Spawner bugs, kill them to disable the spawners.

+ New vent systems, there are 3 ways to enter the lab.
+ Ammo drops, you can find extra ammo and health, now with sound effects.

+ Secret Dumpster loot

+ By request, now we have Speed Mode. x2 player speed, x2 insectoid worker speed. (independent of cheat mode)

+ Boss fight spawner system, 7 egg piles can spawn insectoid variations during middle-late stage boss fight. This significantly increases the difficulty

I'm now taking Beta Testing more seriously and met up with someone to play the game
We talked alot and he describes the game as a stealth shooter. He also considers the game to be Hardcore and very difficult, another tester describes it like Dark Souls.
Our youtube page is still active and I've been improving marketing on the side
I'm looking to have a trailer made for the game, and could use help from another pixel artist if anyone of you is out there reading this.
Oh and we need a new game level music, the music we have in the main level is pretty lame. Its very slow and creepy, but we need more of a techno upbeat, biopunk action frenzy. With alot of synth too.
Do you have what it takes to beat the final boss? If you think so, try to record it for us on YouTube. I'm trying to get a good gauge on difficulty and, please be honest with criticism, we want to improve the game in every way!
