Well, to my new followers, if you’ve been browsing through my older DevLogs you know know that whenever a new character is being added to the game during the development stage that matters to either the story or its underlying lore, I’d write a blog about him or her.

This is emperor Gedrio Fulla. Leader of the Elfish Empire.
Gedrio Fulla is a wise man the Elves all hold in high regard, but uncommon for leaders of dynasties or monarchies he pays them equally in respect and regard. Under the influence of Hando Stillor he immediately accepts Jake and Marrilona even though neither of them are elves, and he has a bit of knowledge about dragons, which is due to the hunt for the Black Dragon quite handy.

In the deeper lore behind Phantasar this emperor plays a rather big role. This is the same guy you’ll meet in the Secrets of Dyrt as emperor. Due to him being an Elf and thus living longer than humans this is possible.

For those who already completed Dyrt I can note this:

I already revealed that Sasha Funda is Dernor’s mother. Sasha Funda is the emperor’s wife, so that makes it quite obvious that Gedrio Fulla is Dernor’s father. Before becoming a Drop-Out Dernor’s name was “Gedrio Sasha”, however he ditched that name when he became a drop-out, or rather, he “died” as “Gedrio Sasha” and was “reborn” as “Dernor Woodlock” as the Drop-Outs say.

Gedrio Fulla will in the game mention “Lady Seya”. Like Melody, Seya is an Elf of the First Generation and leader of an ancient monk’s order called “The Dragonkeepers”. Seya has played a huge role in the background lore of Phantasar, but she’s been missing for a very long time. The game will not reveal what happened to her, because that would be a spoiler for some scripts that are currently in preparation.
