Mirrored Palace

Sorry for the long wait, but I just wanted to post another update today! Recently I’ve been making progress in this area, tentatively called the “Mirrored Palace”. This is supposed to be the ‘turning point’ of sorts for the game, with the most challenging enemies and challenges, and is so far the biggest area in the game. Since ‘Mirror’ is in the name, there will also be lots of elements involving mirrors / reflections…

This area is not finished yet… However when it is finished it will easily mark the halfway mark of what I want to do with development. After this area, there is one relatively small area, then after that the final area, and then finally a secret area. So technically there should be only two more of these preview posts pertaining to new areas! After that will be polishing old areas, new magi, and new enemies. I’ve gotten a few questions concerning a release date. Obviously I cannot give a set date right now, however about a year from now sounds right, depending on what happens in my life during that time… I’m sorry for the massive delay, but there are just things I want to put in the game that I haven’t had the time or resources to do. I’m actually extremely lacking in both time and resources, but I still try my best, so please be patient!

1 Year on Gamejolt

Today is also the ‘anniversary’ of this game on gamejolt! 1 year ago I decided to post this game on here, just to see if people will like it. I of course made the game for fun, not intending for any profit or anything like that. So I posted the game, I took a little extra effort to make a banner and post screenshots (which I guess helped) and then went to sleep. I would’ve been okay if like a few dozen people played the game. And if even 1 person beat it (lol). But the next few days I got so many notifications / plays and feedback for the game I couldn’t believe it! It of course helped to be featured on gamejolt as well! Now of course it has over 7000 downloads which is just crazy to me… To even think that 7k people decided to even play this game. So I just wanted to thank everyone again, especially those who have have even followed since a year ago, for even playing the game. Just knowing that I’ve made more than one person have actual fun playing the game for more than 10 minutes makes me really happy, so thanks a lot! I hope we can see it through to becoming something awesome! I want more than anything for that to happen.
