We’re extremely excited to announce the new MEGA Content Update for Life and Debt! Patch notes are as follows and I hope you guys like the new version as much if not more than we do!

///PATCH NOTES///

BUGFIX: Can no longer win by financing the final item.

BUGFIX: Optimized title screen when sitting on it for a long time.

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug where some jobs weren’t updating with certain educations.

BUGFIX: Pay down debt by $100 button now works as intended.

BUGFIX: Removed any keyboard interaction with UI, it caused weird effects within the game (pressing space to open the options menu on accident, or pay down debt, etc)

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug where the Camera was saying locked sometimes on continue.

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug that allowed players to finance items and not pay for them.

BUGFIX: Fixed some localization issues for Spanish and German.

BUGFIX: Fixed some other small bug fixes / nuances.

BUGFIX: Redeeming scratch off tickets now bring you back to the lottery window as intended.

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug where the tooltip about increasing debt would keep showing up.

BUGFIX: Exit button on top of shop no longer sends you back to the shop window, and closes the entire window as intended.

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug where items financed would not save.

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug where educations you purchased would not save.

• From today’s patch but the notes did not make it in, SAVING now works and is perfect!

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug where sometimes items would not populate in the shop on start.

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug that showed placeholder text instead of job promotion information for the life event.

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug where some jobs would not show their education requirement and still be unclickable.

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug that stopped you from going back to main menu while in game.

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug where income taxes (April 15th) were not showing up.

BUGFIX: Fixed small grammatical errors.

BUGFIX: Sell One buttons on stocks will now say $0 if you have no stock owned in that stock.

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug where Pear Inc’s “Buy One” stock button was not working as intended.

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug where the end game stats screen was showing game length incorrectly.

• CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION
  —- New player character!
  —- Choose male or female
  —- Choose your character’s name, hometown, and clothing color!

• DAILY CHALLENGES
  —- Everyday, three new challenges will appear in a new harder, challenge mode.
  —- Good luck. This mode is not for the faint of heart.

• STOCK MARKET
  —- The stock market calculations have been revamped.
  —- Four companies await for you to buy in to their investments.
  —- Will you be profitable?

• Added stats screen for when you win and lose

• Added a save game warning for erasing data on new game.

• Changed the name of the object showing from immediate to a 2 second hover time. Now longer will you be attacked with object name spam when having lots of objects!

• Added hotkeys to open Shop (Alpha 1), Lottery (Alpha 2), Study (Alpha 3), and Stocks (Alpha 4)!

• Major UI Rework!

• Added silhouettes, no longer will you see floating waterbottles!

• Added a note to the pause menu

• You can now get multiple puppies in the game!

• Changed Repo time to 60 days from 90.

• Added localization for Spanish and French! Total current localizations are: Spanish, French, German, Dutch, and Klingon!

• Explanations for difficulties have been corrected to show as intended.

• Changed minimum winnings odds for all scratch cards from 1 in 25 down to 1 in 10.

• Adjusted minimum possible job lengths to 14 days from 5 days.
