I am happy with the radar that I was able to add in today. Combined with the fog of war (simplifed really) it gives the game a nice sense of exploration.
Also new is a desert map type as well as some currency units inside the game that are needed to build new units.
I didn’t mentioned this last time but the soliders now have 4 directions that they turn into when walking around which helps more to make the readable as soldiers.
Crowd movement Today I managed to get a bunch of soldiers running. The special thing is that they do not intersect each other and nicely pay attention to each other as a group. Planning to add some sample vehicles soon as well
Unit Movement part 2 Some basic unit movement has now been added. Right now units can be selected and moved accross the screen. Each unit has its own collision radius and makes sure that no other unit moves into the same position as another unit.
Placing enemies on the map This is more a smal update but I started placing enemies on the map so that I can start writing their Ai I might change the enemy color at a later time but for now they are green.

A calm and quiet day.. Made surreal by the feeling of finding an elven building in the mountains, and wondering of its purpose and story. I built this elven style house and it was my first attempt at something like this, but what do you think?
