Mini patch (V 0.6.51) is here!


Hey.

No fancy update image this time around. Just a few quality of life fixes to things that were sort of broken in the most recent build.

Fixes:

Battle:

-Fixed an issue where Withered Bonnie's and Withered Chica's XP pulls would instead go to Phantom Foxy

-Changed some configurations with Unscrew, Unscrew 2 and Eye Beam

-Fixed an issue where Lilygear Lake enemies only displayed Seaweed sprites

-Added in some placeholder challenger spots for Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Toy Freddy, and Mangle (in case you lost the starting team because of earlier updates, need to re-acquire them and then trigger their respective encounter.)

(And yes, I will make some proper renders for them at some point down the road.)

-Adjusted values for enemy damage modifiers

Unlock:

-Fixed an issue where Toy Chica and Toy Freddy displayed for each others' unlock screen instead of for their own

-Properly added values so that the starting team is unlockable

Overworld:

-Adjusted some collisions in preparation upcoming content

NPC Chat:

-Fixed issue where some characters would not properly set

Misc:

-Adjusted the description of Gloom Balloon to better match up with its altered function

And that's about it for this mini patch. I do have other stuff in the works, but it'll take time to get that up and running.

While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.

Turns out what the game actually needed was for me to take a proper break from development and enough time to realize what I had broken.

(It was the values tied to IDing what foe it'd be.)

It'll likely need more testing, but we're back in buisiness!

I know it's completely unintentional, but I swear this is the universe trying to convince me to dig my old handiwork out of retirement and do something with him.

First signs of danger.

So, Plan B: The remainder of tonight will run V1 of a solo OCN mode, with an updated version coming tomorrow during the end of the con.

(And a further refined public release of this later on. If there's interest.)

Got a (mostly stable) demo ready for the occasion!
