Monkey's Paw (Part 1) is here.

Had to cut some corners to make this date work, but I do have something to show for it.

And it fits the title of the update so well.

New content that you wanted:

-3 members of the "Update 2" roster are now available to unlock: Jack-O-Bonnie, Nightmare BB, and Nightmarionne

-5 skills are now active: Jack O Bomb, Slasher, 4th Wall, Bubble Breath, and Balloons 2

-To avoid the monotony of regular challenger fights, as well as avoid the massive workload of building four separate minigames, all characters can be unlocked from a single game

-The prototype version of the Halloween Backstage can now be accessed

(To avoid confusion that it would inevitably spawn, the primary access point for this area will be active until the story can be properly added in.)

Content from the original update format:

-BOAT FREDDY

Fixes:

-Updated the structuring for most skills. Should work the same as before, but make it much easier to "drag and drop" on my end.

Suffice to say that outside of some inevitable bug fixes, I'm probably gonna take a break from development on XL and focus on other projects. And also Halloween festivities.

'Till next time!

So, Plan B: The remainder of tonight will run V1 of a solo OCN mode, with an updated version coming tomorrow during the end of the con.

(And a further refined public release of this later on. If there's interest.)

Yeah, we're doing this.

Save file stuff (sidequests, maps and "autosaving") might currently be a troublesome mess, but at least development on OCN is going pretty smooth.

Still have to address a few tweaks to layering and test some other sidequests, but I think that we're back on track again.

Version 1.2.0 is here!

Turns out what the game actually needed was for me to take a proper break from development and enough time to realize what I had broken.

(It was the values tied to IDing what foe it'd be.)

It'll likely need more testing, but we're back in buisiness!

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

No poll for today, though I figured a sneek peek at the next update's changelog is warranted.

Motivation has returned in a substantial enough way.

How about we change things up?
