Welcome back to the last month's report. This one is quite different from the last one since most of September was me getting a job. That being said, I did manage to work on my game.
Let's start off with the long-term work: re-balancing. a good chunk of characters is done (skills-wise) and the initial test run went quite well. I am planning a few testing rounds, to make sure that the game's playable (without causing severe difficulty spikes). In addition, I had some new guild missions (and requests) drafted. So, new content may come in soon.
Next, I worked on some behind-the-scenes stuff. Northbridge got some reliability improvements, alongside updating to .NET 6 (which will bring performance improvements). I've also experimented with new ways to distribute the game. These were... rather temperamental, to be honest. Both of them worked well, but the User Experience was a bit naff, since Northbridge is launching. One of these do allow me to customize it, so I may be able to adapt it for my needs.
That's all for now. The next update is coming along smoothly and I hope that I'll have it up in a few months. Hopefully, it will make the game more enjoyable in the long run. And now that I have a job, I can fund the game further as well (if all goes well). See you in the next post.
