I am no longer a moderator. This was a bit sudden, also for me, I was only informed this morning. No it’s not that thoro is mad with me, or anything (at least, her message to me didn’t sound that way), but has more to do with the new kind of way Game Jolt decided to go, and if you want more info about that, ask thoro. She did reveal to me why I’m no longer a moderator, but I don’t know if I am supposed to share that with you.
However, due to this decision I’m from now on just a normal user, so I cannot do anything about bad behavior, or game theft or anything like that any more. If you have questions about how this site work, I’ll still be happy to answer if I’m able to.
The day I signed up on Game Jolt I never expected I would one day be a moderator, so I wanted to thank @CROS
and @thoro
for putting their trust in me. It’s no secret I’ve had a lot of bad experiences when it comes to trust in general, so that’s why it meant so much for me. And of course, I also want to thank the Game Jolt users who were willing contact me in order to look into their cases, so I could sort it all out. You guys really helped me to make my work easier.
I will just be working on my own personal projects, like I always did, and I will also release some blogs every now and then, like I always did, and so on, und so weiter, et cetera, enzovoorts. In other words, life goes on. I’m still recovering from my gall bladder surgery, however I’m doing better and better each day, and right now, I hardly feel the effects of the surgery, aside from the fact that the pain I had before it has now gone. I have already been discussing some future plans for myself (yeah, even before I knew this decision was coming, as I knew I could combine all that, easily). I simply can’t sit still. I never could, and as long as I’m still breathing, I guess I’ll never be able to.
Anyway, I had a great time working in the Game Jolt staff, and I hope I’ll have a great time, being a normal user again. So, this isn’t really goodbye, after all.
