Edit: This is obviously an April Fool’s joke. Do not take any of this seriously. Even the part of it saying the game would come out in a few weeks. That is a huge lie.
It was extremely bad timing for this leak to happen when it did- this is not a joke. A good portion of what we have been working on for Chapter 1 has unfortunately been leaked by someone we will not name, on April Fool’s day, of course. Nobody in the team was aware until it was too late. By the time we caught on, basically everyone had already played it, because they assumed it was an April Fool’s day prank. So we just decided to post the leaked build that they played, because otherwise it would seem unfair. Besides, it was nearly completed. The remaining tasks were mainly just removing some placeholder sprites, and bug fixes.
So, the build is out on the game page, I guess. Play it if you want. If you are avoiding spoilers, then I would advise not to.
So yeah, that happened.
Of course, we are going to get out a full Chapter 1 release out sometime soon. Expect it within a few weeks!
