Pig Out! v1.12 Released!


Byzantine Studios has released an update for their game ‘Pig Out!’, with a whole host of changes:

-Optimised loading of colour-change functions

-Added messages that appear if player continues to roll on high scoring round (differs for humans and AI)

-Viewing scores now includes points gained so far that turn

-Resized window (exluding borders) to 125 columns by 46 lines (equivalent to 1000×552 pixels) to ensure that the game fits into netbook monitors (note, the size of the window in pixels will be different if you have changed the command prompt text size from its default setting)

-Fixed erroneous colouring of exclamation marks when some positions were rolled

-Optimisations to creation of phrases that do not change based on whether current player is human or AI (were previously being regenerated every turn)

-Optimisations to varying of phrases based on whether current player is human or AI

-Changed “it is <player>’s turn” to “it’s <player>’s turn”

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Here's a Fredbear sprite i made in Aseprite! I'm pretty proud of this!
