Progress Update: Fixes and New Content

Hey, all!

So now that I have motivation back (as well as no longer needing to panic over my finances with the new job I'm starting up next week), I'll be focusing my efforts back to this project. The first order of business is that I'll be breaking down the current WIP build into smaller chunks.

The first one will mainly address the bugs that are affecting gameplay for many players. Already aware of and have been working to fix issues such as the NPC text overlap, the inability to properly leave an NPC shop, scrap collection, and many others.

It'll also include one of the new support-based Showtime skills, Give Life, and two new gamemode options (Easy mode and Fixed Party). Should hopefully be ready to release this PTB within the next few days. (I'll also include a short fix list on the release.)

The parts that will be saved for a later update will be the powerup overhaul and all it's included content/changes. It has fallen behind since I got no clear answers before on how certain mechanics (*cough* shop operations *cough*) should work, so I'll need more time to work on all of that. I'll also try and include a few more Showtime skills, but I can't make any solid guarantees at the moment on whether or not I can wrap up work on those.

As for content past that, things such as the redesigns and the real Update 2 minigames are still on hold until the base game is not a mess code-wise.

So... yeah. New PTB will be ready soon, you can stop telling me about those specific problems, and hopefully I can fit in more work on this while I adjust to an changes in my work schedule. (Not sure how well I'll do on night shift, but we'll see.)

'Till next time!

That doesn't look safe...

Still need to move it over to the proper drive once other important IRL events are over, but...

Version 1.2.0 is here!

It's been a long time coming...

Suppose it was about time that some of these skills got a little extra kick.

Guess I did a terrible job advertising the items most crucial to this recent update.

(At least it's good to know people can find all of the discs without any extra hints on my part.)

Well I've had a VERY productive night.

Not quite the fix I've been talking about for the past few weeks, but it's at least progress.

Okay, the classic "Vent about it not working, then find a fix almost immediately" tactic has worked yet again. Still got some more stuff to fix, but it's something.

Thanks for putting up with this mini crisis of mine.
