Progress Update No. 9.5

Hey there! Tiny update, nothing major, hence the .5 at the end. Production has pretty much wrapped up on my other project, at least for the time being, so I'm getting back into The First Location now. With all of that said...

Yeah. I'm recoding a lot of this game. Hence why this update is tiny. I've learned a boatload of things between starting my break from TFL and finishing my most recent project (more details soon, follow me specifically if you're interested). The code in this game is, messy, unnecessarily repetitive, and very unoptimized on the performance side of things. There is a very real chance that most of the game gets recoded from scratch.

BUT!!!!!!

That all said, don't expect this to take super long! This game was very simple to make when I was new to Unreal, it will be a cakewalk now, and will be 10x easier to manage, 10x easier to update, and 100x easier to look at.

I am also not saying that the game is delayed, by any means. I'm still hoping to have it ready by the end of Summer next year, if not sooner. The game design is not changing, the models and textures are not changing (at least, not majorly), and the story is not changing. Just a lot of optimizing, rework, and polish to be done.

Stay tuned!

Progress Update No. 8

I'm close to finished with all the necessary visual stuff for the update. It's been a long time coming, but it should be ready for release this Summer.

My new small horror project, ATONEMENT, is out now. It's a scavenger horror game featuring music composed by the creator of Slender: The Eight Pages, with similar gameplay to go along with it.

Progress Update No. 9

Merry late Christmas from Fredbear & Friends!

See you next year :)

Added some fun teasers to the game page. Most of them are kinda pointless, since, the characters have been seen already, but it was nice to take a day to chill and render some fun stuff out. Enjoy the callbacks

The new update is officially planned out and set in stone. It's going to be a bit of a departure from the main game, gameplay-wise, and going to take some time. To compensate, it will act as the game's sequel and the conclusion to the story. See you soon.

Progress Update No. 7

Making steady progress on all the new content and Quality of Life changes for Casino Casualty's upcoming Steam release. Aiming for February, ideally, but not setting any firm dates yet.

This is BEYOND early WIP, but a promise is a promise. Thanks for 300+ followers! Have a peek at a certain feature which may or may not be present in the demo (to an extent)
