We've got a kinda boring update today, folks. Graphics Settings! While I still give no promise that just everyone will be able to run the game, I have been working hard on making optimizations, fixing bugs, and of course, creating a graphics settings menu as seen in the first attached image. That said, due to visual and audio cues both being very prevalent in this game, shadows cannot be COMPLETELY disabled, only set to Low, to ensure a consistent and intended gameplay experience. BB's AI is also still in-progress. As usual, everything is also subject to change. See you next update!
Next up
Unreal Engine has some uh...interesting rendering bugs...
yeah idk how this happened. I just accidentally moved a slider too much and hell broke loose.
The new update is officially planned out and set in stone. It's going to be a bit of a departure from the main game, gameplay-wise, and going to take some time. To compensate, it will act as the game's sequel and the conclusion to the story. See you soon.
I'm close to finished with all the necessary visual stuff for the update. It's been a long time coming, but it should be ready for release this Summer.
Progress Update No. 7
Making steady progress on all the new content and Quality of Life changes for Casino Casualty's upcoming Steam release. Aiming for February, ideally, but not setting any firm dates yet.
Progress Update No. 5
More cozy?
My new small horror project, ATONEMENT, is out now. It's a scavenger horror game featuring music composed by the creator of Slender: The Eight Pages, with similar gameplay to go along with it.
